Bereavement
Bereavement is the painful reality caused by the loss of a loved one to death. It is a reality experienced by most, if not all, people during their lifetimes. It is certainly a reality for many parishioners of St. Paul Parish and members of their families.
St. Paul Parish is working to develop ways to help people to cope with their bereavement. Currently, the parish endeavors to contact the surviving spouses of those whose funeral rites were celebrated at St. Paul. When contact is made, the parish offers availability and assistance.
Availability is simply access to a caring person who will field questions and listen patiently. Assistance is primarily a matter of finding the right resources for a given need.
Please contact Deacon Dick Parker through the parish office at 875-2730 to provide the name of anyone who could benefit from a contact or to offer suggestions for the development of this ministry.
Mary, Mother of Sorrows, pray for us.
